Its cover price helps to raise money for the Lord Mayor’s appeal, which this year is ‘Fit for the Future’, raising money for five charities – the primary being Barts and The London Charity on behalf of the Trauma Unit at The Royal London Hospital. Fields In Trust, Futures for Kids, London Youth Rowing and The Rowing Foundation will also benefit.
