This full version includes every rail and tube station, all the public toilets within walking distance of the route, and the few subways that will let you cross the processional route. It's designed to fit snugly on a single page of A4.

other useful maps

Transport for London provide a clever interactive map page and journey planner as well as printable bus, tube and road maps. You can get a detailed map of the area from streetmap or multimap, and the government's new route finder and transport information service works surprisingly well and will give you directions all the way from home to the tube station of your choice.

We also have a detail map showing where to stand for the fireworks and a map showing road closures on the day of the Show and the evening before.

In short

The 2008 Lord Mayor's Show was on Saturday 8 November. The procession lasts from 11am to about 2.30pm and fills the whole area between Bank and Aldwych. There are guided walks at 3 and the day ends with fireworks at 5 over the Thames.

Take part!

If you'd like to take part in next year's Show, please get in touch with the Pageantmaster's office soon. It's a fantastic way to boost your profile, raise morale and do something for charity all at once, and the procession is usually full by late spring.

Credits

This site has been built and managed by spanner since its launch in 1996, and currently runs on a modified version of radiant and rails.
