This page brings together all the press releases published by the City and any other information useful to people covering the 2011 Lord Mayor’s Show.
The busiest times here are towards the end of September, when the incoming Lord Mayor is elected, and in the fortnight before the Show when last minute details are released, but we also publish useful background information and feature material in the intervening weeks.
Press accreditation
There is also an accreditation scheme for press covering the Lord Mayor's Banquet, which this year includes speeches from the Prime Minister and the Archbishop of Canterbury as well as the new and late Lord Mayors.
Media opportunities
There are several photographic and interview opportunities in and around the Lord Mayor’s Show, including the dawn coach rehearsal. Details will be published here as soon as times and dates are set.
Press Releases
All the press releases put out by the City of London Press Office will appear here immediately, along with any others that seem useful.
